Transportation Engineers of the Future Scholarship

The Georgia Department of Transportation and the transportation professional community in Georgia offer scholarships to Georgia Tech undergraduates who want to pursue a masters degree in Transportation Systems at Georgia Tech.  The scholarship is equivalent to a graduate research assistantship.

The intent of this scholarship is to promote transportation as a professional career, with special emphasis on encouraging more young professionals to work in the transportation field.  Students interested in any career path relevant to transportation systems are encouraged to apply.  This includes those interested in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, transportation engineering and planning, finance, public policy, and construction engineering.

The requirements for this scholarship include:

  • Satisfy requirements for admission to the Georgia Tech graduate masters requirements
  • Agree to work a minimum of three years for the Georgia Department of Transportation
